Bruce Seidel
Associate, M&A Advisory
Bruce Seidel works as an Analyst on the M&A Advisory team, serving founders and CEOs across the digital commerce ecosystem. Bruce spends his time at eGateway Capital conducting buyer and seller outreach, analyzing financial statements and industry data, executing transactions on behalf of clients, performing valuation analyses on companies, researching industry trends, and constructing market reports and key memoranda for the M&A process. Bruce brings a unique perspective to the M&A team, having worked on more than a billion dollars' worth of transactions during his career. Prior to joining eGateway, Bruce worked at Rippe & Kingston Capital Advisors, a generalist middle-market investment bank, where he focused on sell-side M&A advisory in industries including CPG, e-commerce and retail, enterprise software and SaaS, industrials, and distribution. Bruce graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati with a double major in finance and entrepreneurship and spent six months in London studying international business at the Guildhall School of Business and Law.

Danisha Pasaya is an M&A Analyst with the eGateway Advisory team, where she helps develop pitch decks, conduct market research, source targets for both buy-side and sell-side clients, perform financial analysis, and assist with the due diligence process. Before joining eGateway, Danisha interned at a boutique investment bank, focusing on identifying and analyzing target companies for investment purposes. She earned her MS in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, where she participated in various competitions and won first place in the Cornell Investment Portfolio Case Competition in 2023. Originally from India, she completed her Bachelor's in Accounting & Finance and her Master's in Banking & Finance. She then gained experience in accounting, auditing, and corporate finance, as well as in developing market penetration and expansion strategies for startups.

Jon Cottrell, Vice President, works with the eGateway Capital M&A Advisory team. Based in Dubai, UAE, Jon leverages his unique M&A experience to support the US operations while looking to expand eGateway’s presence in the EMEA and APAC markets. As the “Quarter Back” of transactions, Jon ensures a seamless process for clients from start to close. Jon has completed over 20 transactions, many cross border. Originally from the UK, Jon grew up in Dubai before making his way to the University of Cincinnati to be a part of the men’s soccer team. Graduating with summa cum laude and honors in M.S. Financial Mathematics, he moved to Silicon Valley to join Menalto Advisors, where he spent five years advising and executing M&A strategies with buyers including Affirm, Alibaba, Apple, Coinbase, Google, and Facebook. Jon began his financial career as a Private Equity Analyst at Fund Evaluation Group.

Mark Sancrant is a co-founder and partner with eGateway Capital and leads the M&A Advisory practice. Mark has extensive transaction experience over a 26-year career in investment banking, corporate strategy, and M&A. Mark’s focus is working with entrepreneurs, management teams, and investors in high-growth markets including eCommerce, consumer products, marketing, and logistics. Mark brings a unique background that spans Wall Street investment banking as well as operational experience. His investment banking and M&A advisory background includes Prudential Securities, Blue Stone Capital, and Blue Ash Capital – a firm he founded. In addition to his advisory background, Mark has held senior and executive level strategy and M&A positions in the consumer products, ecommerce, and media markets with D2C Brands, Empower Media, and iNET Interactive. Mark currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for Children’s Meeting House Montessori School. Previously he served as a Board Member of the Association for Corporate Growth – Cincinnati Chapter and Vice President of the Board of Trustees for St. Peter Claver Latin School for Boys.
